So today is officially the end of summer. School has started and the pools are closing.

Hurricanes threaten our beaches. We are glad New Orleans was spared the damage Katrina brought and hope that Hanna doesn't bring anything but lots of rain.

And ... Ben leaves tomorrow for Hungary. He will be gone until December 22. My mom is going to miss him a lot but hopes he has a wonderful time. Remember, this is the child who called her every night from the Boy Scout National Jamboree and his 50 mile Appalachian Trail hike to please come and get him because he would die if she didn't. Then when she wouldn't, he would call Anna. Poor Anna. Hopefully, he will stick in Hungary and enjoy the experience.

How was your summer. My mom and dad went to Sedona, Arizona and Seattle, Washington this summer for vacation. They said both were really cool. I see things picking up around the law firm. Builders are starting to sell houses again and a few are actually starting houses. We are closing a lot of foreclosures. You know, they say that the market can't really improve until all the foreclosures are absorbed. So get out there and buy some foreclosures. :)

CAP got a full price contract on the Lake House, contingent on the buyer's selling their house in Savannah but full price none the less. We'll take it and be happy for it. And we think we have rented the townhouse to some seminary students. He is in the masters program in apologetics (that means defense of the faith) and then wants to get his Doctors of Divinity and teach in seminary. He is really smart. And we have a couple of really good prospects on renting in the new office building which by the way is really pretty and will be done by the end of the year.
